Default Buying my first cart: is it a good deal?

Please forgive me if this isn’t where to post this. It’s my first time. I did search cart prices but couldn’t find anything relevant. As of today (02/22/2020) I have found the best “deal” around for my price range and it is a 2007 EZGO TXT 36volt cart with brand new tires, brand new batteries, a rear seat kit and perfect matching seats. It also has headlight and taillights. Comes with a charger all from a dealer for $3500 tax included. Is this a good deal? Can I find a better cart for this price or cheaper?

Additionally a neighbor is selling a 1995 EZGO with 1-year old batteries and a charger for $700. But it needs tires and I need a 4 seater so it needs a seat kit and probably would end up costing me $2000 before I know it.

I don't know where you've been shopping, but the best prices are usually found at the wholesalers near Augusta GA. $3500 for a 2007 36V cart is excessive. We can buy a much newer (2016) RXV fresh off of lease for less than 2/3rds of that price. You can usually pick the cart out yourself from a cart yard full of them. A rear seat kit is easy to buy and install, and the torque of the RXVs AC drive is hard to beat for the cost.

Have you tried Craig's list for your area. Looking in regular will give you an idea of what your local carts are going for ,here is an example of the panhandle of Florida

I drive there and look for what I want. The one that gives me the best deals is right down the street from one of the E-Z-GO assembly plants.

I live in South Florida. Most of craigslist is a scam or someone in Miami who is hard to communicate with.....and other times stolen items. Based off of that cart you showed me the $3500 isn’t a bad deal comparatively. The cart I am being offered is from the most respected EZ-Go dealer in my area and looks pristine. Was a personal cart, never fleet. New tires and batteries installed at point of sale from the dealer and a charger. That one you linked looks in worse condition and makes no mention of battery age or charger. What are your thoughts?

you seam to be more comfortable with a know establish dealership, so i would follow my gut, However that special piece of mind that you are purchasing can get expensive.
Will they stand behind the sell, or is it "AS-IS" if so.....RUN!

That 1995 EZGo seems like the best deal....the batteries only year old, cart is almost free. Them things are workhorses!
