Charger Question
We recently bought a 2012 TXT48. The charger they gave us was a Delta Q SC48 and from what i've read on line this looks like what EZGO supplies with their fleet carts to golf courses. I'm wondering if this charger has a float charge or does it just charge to complete and stop. I have Nov 2019 NAPA 8148 batteries in the cart. I would like to maybe upgrade in the spring or summer to lithium batteries which is what is keeping me from wanting to buy a new charger but if that gets pushed off a little farther I don't want to be screwing up the batteries I have.

Re: Charger Question
Plug charger into cart after each use.
If cart isn't being used, unplug charge from cart, wait a minute and plug charger back into cart at least once a month. |

Re: Charger Question
Thanks JhonnieB, I take it this means it doesn't have a float charge to it? I can't anything on line that really answers that.I do plug it in after each use even it's just up and down the street a couple of times which is all I've had a chance to do since we just got it and haven't had a chance to take it anywhere.

Re: Charger Question
I would suggest getting the battery minder model with desulfonation. I got the below recently and it has increased usage range noticeably. Its not quick by any means but it seems to be conditioning the batteries as opposed to burning them out.
