What the heck. I'll start you with a chore.

Series motor testing.

Remove pack voltage from system.
Jack up rear wheels and support on jack stands.
Remove and isolate the four cables connected to motor insuring to back up the jam nut on each connection. DO NOT TWIST THE MOTOR TERMINAL STUDS!.

Connect a jumper between the A1 and S1 post.
Use a 12v battery and jumper cables or you can use a 12v battery charger with the start/boost option. Connect the battery or charger to the A2 and S2 posts of the motor. Polarity is not critical and the motor should spin one way or the other.

DO NOT RUN AN ELECTRIC MOTOR WITH THE FRONT SHAFT UNSUPPORTED!

on this please over look my not understanding ok
on a 12 volt battery with a pair of jumper cables hook up the battery as normal and clamp the ground on the body of the cart motor and clamp the hot to the a1 first and then to the s1 or put the jumper on both and then clamp the hot on eather one or do you mean hook the hot to a1 and the ground to s1
the reason i am asking is the way i check a starter is by hooking the ground to the body of the starter and the hot to the selinoid

i am just making sure i understand you before i hook it up

DO NOT RUN AN ELECTRIC MOTOR WITH THE FRONT SHAFT UNSUPPORTED!
ok on this part the front shaft unsupported do you mean do not remove the motor from the axle and try to power it up
thank you for your help

No, do it exactly as I said.
Put a jumper between A1/S1
Connect your jumper cables to the battery.
Connect one of the jumper cables to the A2.
Touch the other jumper cable to S2. Small spark maybe but motor should spin one way or the other telling you motor is functioning.

Forget trying to compare a 12v negative(chassis) ground system like an auto. Carts reference all grounds to battery negative. No chassis grounds on electric carts.

Can you post pics.....of the F&R and disconnected wires? does the micro switch at the F&R work? Nothing works without it.
Everybody wants to test the MOTOR? It is the last thing to go out on these carts

ok here is the pictures i hope
like i said the big white wire on the f/r switch is not hooked to any thing
it is wraped around a battery cable and that little black wire goes to the beeper on the first picture and on the second one is the black resister on the selinode that gets pretty hot and over look my bad spelling lol
