Default Buying rims/tires off Ebay?

We have a 1989 EZ-GO Spirit someone gave us. It sat in a garage for 18 years unused. So far, we have put in 6 new batteries from Sam's Club ($400.00), a new IPC resistor, new contact wiper board, new wiper and solenoid. Total investment of $700.00 and it runs perfect.
The tires are dry rotted.
I'm seeing these allegedly good deals on Ebay for 4 10" rims with low profile tires for around $300.00.
Has anyone bought them and if so, how are they?
Thanks in advance.

I have bought them off E-Bay, but not the low profile. Mine were new dealer take-offs (they put even bigger combo's on) so were perfect. So if they are dealer take-offs the price makes some sense, if not then do some more homework on the deal!

Can you post a site or pic of them?

I don't see any problems with the cheapies on eBay, most come with wheels, DOT tires, chrome centers and chrome lug nuts. There's not much to wrong with these, you're not running at freeway speeds and I doubt there are any real issues with these. I'd say go for it.

The 10" wheels with the 205/50-10 tires are about the same diameter as the stock 8" wheel and tire combo that you probably have now (about 18"). You don't need to lift the cart and all will run as it did with the original wheels and tires.
The low profile tires have a shorter sidewall than the original tires and may ride a little harder or you may not even notice the difference.
