offset wheels?????
i put a 6" lift on my 91 ezgo, and just yesterday bought a set of 22x11x8 tires and wheels that were said to fit an ezgo....nope... went to put them on and the inside of wheel will not clear my brake drums! Man i am mad....called the man up and he said he would not warranty them as they are supposed to fit an ezgo!! My dilemma here is should i put spacers to move them way out from cart or will a set of 2x5 offset wheels bolt up directly to me existing studs without spacers? Please help!!!! thanks!! Also do yamaha wheels have a smaller inside of wheel than ezgo, think i may have these instead!!

Re: offset wheels?????
Gator,
If you are using a spindle lift on front, the 8"wheels will not work.As far as clearing brake drums,I 've never heard of this problem with a standard or offset 8" wheel. |

Re: offset wheels?????
just used the standard "block " lift, just put the 6" blocks between axles and leaf springs as they sell in the kits, didnt drop spindles or anything like that, would pics help?? Friend of mine down the street has one lifted the exact same way, may need to go look at theirs to see if they have spacers on their wheels!! Duh....had a barbie moment!!my factory wheels work fine, inside diam is bigger than these new ones so they clear...just looks awful funny with 6" lift and factory slicks!!
