I just purchased yesterday--no uphill power

I just purchased an older ezgo yesterday and it has brand new batteries, It runs okay on flat ground but the least incline it slow to a crawl. Motor problems?

Need lots of more info first, but you describe an older electric EZGO golf cart pretty well.

Hey, I'm a huge fan. When EZGO went to TPE, they sort of "lost" me. I'm a metal guy!!!!

I hear you..I like the old school metal bodies too..Working on one for my buddy..replacing the motor and fabin up some bumpers..

I am like you I just purchased a 89 ezgo put new batteries on it, runs fine on flat ground but when I start up incline it slows downs almost to a crawl. It is a 36 volt all of the cables are good, I charged the batteries fully before I drove the cart.
