Default differential input shaft

Allright guys,

I'm sure roady will call me and answer my question before too many people get to read it, but what are the options when a differential input shaft is as smooth as a babys bottom? As most of you are aware, my motor and diff have not gone through "normal" wear and tear, and it's decision making time. I have an extra rear end, but if it's something i can change just part of, keeping the spare diff in tact would be nice.

Took your phone?!?!?! What kind of SUMBITCH would do such a thing! When you head in to cut on the table, send me some smoke signals. Did you ever find your fuel sender?

:shock YES i mean fuel PUMP, my brain has been taken over by OnSite vocabulary. Getting back to the topic, is that thing press fit on, or can it be removed? I've got the rear end from hooptie i could swap out, but we did such a nice job rebuiling Gato's that I didn't want the effort to go to waste.

I think all of Gatos batts are still good, i pulled the motor, but since i no gotty no shop keys i didn'y get to harvest Whiteys motor or the controller. What did we do with the second controller?

I know what everyone else reading this is thinking..."why aren't these guys PMing this inside conversation!" Well it's Roady's website, and i plain just don't give a rats!

There is a snap ring that holds the input shaft and bearing in. Take the snap ring out and the shaft should come right out. Same goes for BOTH rear ends. You'll probly have to clean the goop out from around the shaft area to see the snap ring.

I am trying to find an exploded diagram but I haven't found one that shows the snap ring or lists the parts. Am I gonna have to come do it for ya NYLAN!!!

I have the other controller! REMEMBER! Apparently NOT!
