Default Lights, again.. Pictures?

Planning the lights on my daughter's kart, going to use LED floodlight bulbs modified to run of the native 36V supply for the motor. They put out the same light as a 45W bulb, are more directional, but use about 3W each! :) For the more technical out there, the ones I bought have three chains of 20 LED's running at 60V (after rectification and the resistor) - I'm going to rework them to allow a low and high setting - an always on set for daylight running, as well as full brightness when needed. I'll do the same at the rear, for tail light/brake..

So that's the electrical part out of the way.

The LED units are round of course, so I want to install them into a round cowling of some sort. Daughter wants them on the body, not below ala running/fog light style. I could recess them like a camaro, or mount them inside a flush-finish lens like a 911.

All the light kits I've found online are rectangular, as are the pics of body-mounted lights I've seen. Anyone come across (or have) pictures of round body-mounted lights?

I'm capable of working with composite materials, I could fashion my own shrouds, but a lens would be a bit more complicated.

Well, nobody replied so I just invented my own way of doing things. Now that they're painted, they look really sharp..

Still working on it - that's how it looks right now, paint is drying in the garage!

Here's a pics of it running with lights installed and body taped back on before painting, however.

I'm quite pleased, considering this is done with a couple of malibu flood lamp housings and 45W LED flood lamps from WalMart.. :)

EFLYGUY-- I just saw a similar setup installed in a old Club Car but he used plastic pipe and lined the inside with stainless tape to sharpen the light. His pipe was mounted FLUSH with body and really looks sharp and VERY BRIGHT.

I have some heavy duty aluminum duct tape that might look nice inside the light housings - I'll see what it looks like once everything is back together..
