Default Good Deal or Bad

I'm ready to buy my first cart. Will be used for golf only. Have found an EZ Go 2005 Silver PDS with 2007 Trojan batteries. Steering is a little loose, but dealer will adjust. Includes new windshield, ball washer. Appears to be in very good to excellent condition. Body has a few scratches on rear fenders.Seats very good. Came off lease from a course in Arkansas .

Price is $2450 with speed upgrade to 19 mph.

Any thing I should look out for? EZ go versus Club Car??

Thanks!!

Welcome gemde!

Around my area you can buy carts like this all day long for around $1850. EZGO manufactures more carts than anyone else so OEM parts, new and used are easier to come by. Both Club Car and Yamaha are also great carts.
Here's a recent posting from a guy who sells off-lease carts here:

Quote:
2005 YAMAHA 48 VOLT $2,100. THE CART WAS COMPLETELY INSPECTED IT RUNS GREAT, CHARGER COMES WITH CART.

2004 EZGO 36 VOLT MODEL $1,850. THE CART WAS COMPLETELY INSPECTED IT RUNS GREAT. THE CART INCLUDES A POWERWISE CHARGER.THIS CART COMES WITH NEWER 2007 TROJAN BATTERIES.

2005 CLUB CAR PRECEDENT 48 VOLT MODEL GOLF CART $2,200. THE CART HAS NEWER TROJAN BATTERIES. IT HAS 4 12 VOLT BATTERIES. IT COMES WITH AN AUTOMATIC CHARGER. IT’S AN IQ MODEL WHICH MEANS YOU CAN PROGRAM THE ENGINE TO GO FASTER OR SLOWER OR GAIN MORE TORQUE. TOP SPEED IS 19.7 MPH. THIS CART COMES WITH A FOLD DOWN WINDSHIELD.
I don't know where you are but here's a Memphis posting:
