Question 1994 Ezgo Textron

This is just a shot in the dark but worth a try…

I just was given second ezgo cart, a 1994 Textron electric golf cart that does not run. Any help as to where to start. one of my biggest concerns is I am only getting 24 volt when checking with a volt meter...next is when checking the solenoid, the pos. prong is getting 24 volt but when turning the key or pushing the gas petal nothing is coming from any other prong... (Nothing...no volts) might be doing this wrong but reading on the internet that is what they said to do.

I can not compare it to my other ezgo cart 2004 (I think) and 1994

Question Re: 1994 Ezgo TXT

1994 electric Ezgo txt

OK, I have run a few test, I had to change the solenoid...it was bad. Now I am getting 36 volts all the way to the motor, but still nothing. I have run the test on the motor, and the motor runs...now I am stuck. Any suggestions

Does anyone have a drawing on the small wires?

Is the 94 a Marathon or a Medalist? = not sure...??? All it has is EZGO Textron

As of Sunday total volts are 31-32

Question: next to the solenoid on top of the throttle switch...there are 3 terminals... I have a wire on the left and right one…no wire in the middle. Is that the way it should be…???? Plus I have another one in the front with no wire. It is right by the hot wire going to the reverse warning device. The other two wires here are white and black they go back to the control module.

BATTERY BAY:

2 packs of three on either side = Marathon
6 batteries in center = Medalist

Use this to trace and confirm all wiring! Your batteries are dead too!
