Question Ez-Go Tow Truck Modification

greeting all

been reading for a few weeks here as its a wealth of information

i have to say that some of you guys are "Nuts" with the mods that you do & i mean that in a nice way as they are simpily awsome

As i am very new to the Golf Cart world i would be interest in hearing what options you would recomend for me to do to my cart

the cart that i have is a 36 Volt TXT - PDS 2006

what i want to use this car for is to pull my car around with, the car weighs 2000 Lb & rolls very easy

i have some body options in mind & also some dress up ideas like Lights ect that i will do as time goes on along with some Mag wheels

i am not interested in lifting it at all & the wheel size has to stay standard apart from that its an open ticket

share your sugestions that will help my cart to tow & live a little longer

regards
rod

thanks for the link, i have already been there & also to there Ebay Page

Paint options will be done here in Australia due to the freight cost to transport a body here

i am mainly interested in what you guys would recomend as performance upgrades to help me use this cart to tow with

i have already picked out what i want in the way of body & accessories to fit to the cart & will start comparing prices in the next week or so & will definatly compare site sponcers offers

i guess i will need to get these parts to Florida as i have a friend there who will send it to me in Australia

its pointless to post pics at this stage as the cart is totaly standard

as for the 48 Volt upgrade i have been doing a little research on that, what would be the better motor to use

I have heard good things about the "beast' motor and also D & D motors. You will also need to upgrade your controller to at least 500amps for maximun effeiciency of the motors. Then add 4ga wiring and HD solenoid and you should be able to pull stumps. (definitely raise voltage to at least 48v.)
