Ez-Go Tow Truck Modification
greeting all
been reading for a few weeks here as its a wealth of information i have to say that some of you guys are "Nuts" with the mods that you do & i mean that in a nice way as they are simpily awsome As i am very new to the Golf Cart world i would be interest in hearing what options you would recomend for me to do to my cart the cart that i have is a 36 Volt TXT - PDS 2006 what i want to use this car for is to pull my car around with, the car weighs 2000 Lb & rolls very easy i have some body options in mind & also some dress up ideas like Lights ect that i will do as time goes on along with some Mag wheels i am not interested in lifting it at all & the wheel size has to stay standard apart from that its an open ticket share your sugestions that will help my cart to tow & live a little longer regards rod |

upgrade to 48 volt put in a high tourque motor this guy has a 48 volt with high tourque motor

its pointless to post pics at this stage as the cart is totaly standard
as for the 48 Volt upgrade i have been doing a little research on that, what would be the better motor to use regards rod |

I have heard good things about the "beast' motor and also D & D motors. You will also need to upgrade your controller to at least 500amps for maximun effeiciency of the motors. Then add 4ga wiring and HD solenoid and you should be able to pull stumps. (definitely raise voltage to at least 48v.)

well I have been looking for a motor for mine (just 36 volt) and was debating the beast or the d&d version same price and d&d has a little more hp so id go with it im ordering mine from eastcoastcustomcartsinc.com part # ddes5226, ill let you know how I like mine once I get it
