Varistor
Can someone tell me what a Varistor does hooked to a 400 amp Curtis controller ? And how would you test it ? RB

Protects from voltage spikes. What year is this on? The very early Marathon controller carts came that way factory equipped. Just curious. Don't know about testing but you should be ok without it. Maybe run a ANN400 instead.

Sorry it took so long. Left a voicemail for the guy who has the cart but haven't heard back. He is the cart mechanic for our golf course and I'm an "old guy" who helps out.
The cart, he's fiddling with, is a late 80's utility cart he's got at home. Some guy gave it to him, in pieces,and he's now got it running. Thanks for the info. I just signed on last week and have gotten info twice. Nice to have you guys out there. RB |
