Default Logisystems controller question

For those of yoou who are following along and have been so helpful, my 92 Marathon SHV (stealth hunting vehicle) is basically complete. I installed a logisystems 480 amp controller and it solved my issues and gave me more speed and power. It does seem to have one quirk. After accelerating to top speed it seems to govern the motor, sort of pulsing so the cart slows just a little then speeds up then slows again. Its barely noticeable, more so when going downhill. Is this normal for the controller?

I have a 700 amp in my 89 buggy and mine has never done that. Actually it's treated me good so far. You might want to call them and pick the techs brain aliitle. The were very helpful when I converted mine to solid state. I was even told if I had ANY problems within the 1 year warranty to send it back and it would be replaced no questions asked. This is my first controller cart and I'm learning as I go. I'm sure someone with more knowledge will be along soon to offer up better info.. Good luck and let us know what you figure out.

This is a WAG.

Sounds like the throttle pot is bumping around a bit at top end. Like from 5k to 5.6k or something like that. Still best to chk with controller guys.

Remember, it's a WAG. Closer to a SWAG actually.

Mine didn't conme with installation instructions. One of the members posted a wiring diagram fo a Marathon controller cart and I followed that to the T and everything worked out great. I can't find the thread that it was posted on. I also got some help from the tech at Logisystem. If your cart is already a controller cart; then you should be able to just diconnect the old controller and reconnect. The Logistem lugs are clearly marked.

Thank you Gentlemen,

Mine came with a VERY generic diagram that showcased the difference between a Logisystems Controller "not having an A2 and having an A2 direct connection" but NO other wiring diagrams were included.

I too called logisystems but apparently the guru was out on Thurs/Friday and the guy I spoke to seemed very unsure....probably because the alltrax is wired way different than he thought it would be....I wired it EXACTLY to the diagram from the allrax site and it works great so I think I just got a "newbie"....

.I have read that it only takes 30 seconds to toast a controller and just trying to make sure I do it 100% correct the first time...

Scotty B I found/saw yours for a CC and was hoping someone with a series cart had one....I can call back Monday if no one can help...just thought I would try....

3 MAIN TERMINALS On New Logisystems controller

Obviously B- goes to batt pack neg ( I currently also have a small black wire from solonoied connected to B-)

B+ comes from batt pack positive which ofcourse first goes thru the solenoid ----currently a second 4 gauge wire is connected to this terminal on the alltrax and runs to the top terminal of my F/R switch...I assume this remains same but not sure?

M- is currently running to A2 on motor

3 MINI TERMINALS on a Vertical Plane on New Logisystems

I Assume top one is from the power suppy coming from throttle linkage activated microswitch--thats what currently goes to #1 on my alltrax

Second and third connect to the potentiamoter black/white wires not sure if the order matters 2 black and 3 white etc

You can switch the black and white pot wires and it does not matter.
