Hand held analog 6-12 volt with finger trigger to load the heating elements. Needle stayed in the green (ok). None of them dropped in the red (replace) not even close.

how long did you hold the trigger?

Also, those testers are really aimed at testing a starting battery not a deep cycle battery.. ]

The proper tester for a golf car is a discharger. It simulates driving around for 90 minutes... and shuts off when car is below proper voltage...

the problem is you cant hold that trigger down for 20 minutes...

A golf car battery can be bad enough to slow your car, or take away power, and still be strong enough to read good on your tester...

My brother has my older golf cart with 2 year batteries. I'll take them out put them in mine and try it. I know they are good his cart runs just fine.

I got 83 ezgo ,mine done same thing . I had to have armacher turned and new brushes

Well Phasetim you were right it was batteries. I put the ones out of my old cart i had sold to my brother and it will climb a tree now. So i guess its out to buy new batteries.

Thanks for all your help and the other idea about the brushes. I Can't thank you enough.

Glad I could help termite, I've seen people chase many $$$ of parts trying to fix that problem. I get that phone call about twice a week.
