Default Burned parts in charger

I have a powerwise battery charger that has two parts on the circuit board that has burned .The board is mounted at bottom of the charger and the two parts that is burned is on the very end of board facing towards the front of charger. Can anyone tell me what these compoents are. They are about the size of a half a dollar. Also, do they make a schematic for this circuit. The part number for the board is 28667-G01.Trying to save money by replacing the parts.

They are blue when not burnt. I haven't found them yet to replace. The board is about $65.00.

Yes, I see the parts that are burned on mine and yes they are blue. I have the upgrade board . It was put in 4 or 5 yrs ago. Has more compoents on the upgrade than the one in the picture. I was charged 150 bucks for the repairs at that time. With yalls help , I would like to see if i can repair it myself. Can you tell me if they make a schematic for this board and if so , where can i get one. Oh! By the way . Thanks for your help!

Cheapest board I have found cost 92.00 dollars. If I can't find what the parts are I will have to go that away. The parts on the picture you posted looks like a varistor or a themistor.Don"t know for sure ., but thanks for your help.

try google for quick charge website, they sell boards for about 58, not the ezgo replacement but they work like charm, the ezgo replacement is found for about 80.

The blue things are called varistors as you said, check this http://www.alliedelec.com/Search/Pro...34&MPN=S20K150

That is exactly the ones used by those boards, they are used as circuit protection so there's chances there was something wrong with charger or probably AC power to burn them

The boards I speak of aren't the EZGO boards but work as stated just fine.
If you can find the parts then I would be interested in trying to fix a couple of old boards myself.
