Default new controller help!!!

we have a 99 ez-go cart (seats and it had a 400 amp controller that blew up. the controller had 4 big pins and 3 little wires on it. the new controller has 3 big pins and 4 little ones. we got it wired so a2 goes direct to fr switch and the others go to controller. the problem is no matter how we move the little wires on controller the pedal is backwards. slow is fast and fast is slow. (kinda a trip to drive). forward is forward and rev is rev. why is the pedal wrong (even switched wires around and no diff.

new controller has 4 pins cart only works on 1,3,4 2 is dead so we got micro from fr switch to pin 1 and pedal to 3 and 4. need help guys

Your new controller is mis-matched with the throttle indicator device.... nothing you do will change that... basically you have the wrong controller.
MOst ezgo throttles are 0-5K ohms and CC is 5K-0 ohms so you see how if you got a CC controller it would get backwards readings?
Put your voltmeter selector on ohms and connect to the black and white small wires while they are disconnected from the controller, now push the gas and watch the digital meter..... 5k-0 or 0-5k?

That's right, ask the forum what you need before you buy and have the advantage of being an informed consumer
