Default help with a highspeed gear change 2001 ez go

I have a 2001 ez go cart and ordered a 6:1 gear set from Arizona off ebay. The large gear is the obvious replacement, but the smaller gear not sure where it goes. If any one has detailed knowledge and pictures. please help! My cart is jacked up and tore apart We play hide and seek on weekend nights and missing games now.

I think you have to split the case to change the little gear that the big gear rides on? I could be wrong....Somebody who knows for sure will be along.

Hi dwelke,

I think most of those stock rear-ends were Dana. Gas was a little different
than the sparky cars. If you still have it apart, PM me your email and I can
help. Gotta get you back in the game !

A little off topic, with a 6:1 gear set you are going to need heavy cables (4ga) and at least a 400 amp controller to take the load.
