solenoid fried?
ok i followed the wiring diagrams and tested the volt from the r.f switch to the solenoid i get 0 its the 1996 ezgo dcs i ran the test from the blue wire to the solenojd and the yellow wire out from the f r switch and get zip schould be 36 volt solenoid bad?

On a dcs cart the only thing on the F&R is 2 microswitches. Have you tested them for power in / power oout?

yes the micro to the fnr switch is good as well the one under the floor how ever when i tried to jump the micro to the gas peddle nothing happened the test u gave me every thing came out the way it schould have but that test

If I understand you? You are saying there is no power to the solenoid activation circuit?
The solenoid activation circuit requires 1 Pos and 1 Neg connection at the SMALL terminals to activate the coil |

on the test with 6 test on it that u sent me i went thouog them all awhen i did the volt test from the blue wire on the control box going to the soleniod and the yellow wire coming from the f r switch it shows it schould be 36 volt when i did it i got nothing

scottyb replaced solenoid did not work i found two burnt wires coming off the controller box the white and black wire that are by them selfs not in the harness and do you have atest and scamatics for a 2000 36 volt motor for ezgo electric iys a 96 with a 2000 motor thank for all the help so far

oh yea when i did the testt there was no clicking in the solenoid

JUst for chits and grins ..... get 2 jumper wires connect one to 36v POSITIVE and the other to 36v NEG touch them to the 2 small solenoid activtion terminals. THe solenoid should click
It is not recommended to test the motor on a DCS cart as you would a series model. You can check for ground fault by testing for continuity between any A1 or A2 terminal and any F1 or F2 on the motor. test with all cables removed. (mark them first) |

That's cool .... you will get it ...... I think it is an activation problem at the solenoid?
