Protecting motor cables
I have an EZGO Marathon w/ 22" tires and a 6" lift. My problem is at my deer lease we have a lot of loose timber laying around. Twice now I have had the cables pulled loose from the motor after running over some sticks. Is there anything out there (skid plate) that I can install to protect the cables and motor? Or has anyone else had this problem and has a solution?
Thanks |

Re: Protecting motor cables
There was a guy on the Michigan craigslist that was selling skid plates for the rear of EZGO's a while back. I just checked and didn't find his listing. I'll post an ad looking for him, If he reply's I'll post the info here. I think he was selling them for $40 + shipping or check with the site sponsors they might be able to help you too!

He had a pic in the listing before. I'm sure if you call or email him he'll send you a pic.

Re: Protecting motor cables
That's a differetial cover. It's only use is to protect the cover or pan on differntial where the gear is from getting dented into the gear. I have one on my Marathon and was every $ if you you go offroad. It does nothing to protect the wires or their connections.
