pedal adjustment on electric cart?
I just updraded to alltrax 500 amp controller and dd motor. Is there any pedal adjustment that I have to be aware of. I bought the cart used and really didn't run it before I upgraded everything. I no there is a potentiometer or micro swith that senses throttle position. I noticed that I have to move the pedal about half way before it goes.

OLDER pot box carts:
With cart turned off, take the 2 small wires that run form the pot box to the controller loose at controller. Take your meter and set it to OHM's one lead in each wire and see what it reads as you press on the gas pedal. It should start say a 1/4 way down and go from 0 to around 5000 at wide open. Newer Carts with ITS: Make sure the adjustment is right on the plunger under the floorboard. |
