So one day after some moron washed the cart, I had to plug it in. Well that didn't go so good because stupidarse didnt tell me they washed it, with a hose, into the charger socket!!!
Lo and behold BOOM the thing sparks and smokes out the plug. I tested the cart and it was fine so I just put the charger away. So today I need a second charger and I go plug the burnt one in (not knowing it) and try to start charging and it wont start... i'm thinking under voltage because I had to push this cart downhill ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

And now for the question: Would the scoket being wet cause this? What componenets/fuses/CB's on the charger could this have damaged?

Very possible. It should be fine when you get it back together. I would cut out all the bare/damaged wire so you have good wire when you go back together. Maybe even get a new plug.
