I live in an area with limited golf cart repair/parts purchase options. Any tips on places to comparison shop for 6V batteries for my "brand new" 1991 EZGO? Google searching has been rather unsuccessful so far.
Thanks |

Where are you located?
I don't know of any internet sites that sell batteries for any number of reasons. One being they're expensive as it is, and shipping would just add insult to injury on those +/- 70 lb. each monsters. Another reason is that they would probably charge you a fee for shipping them since they're dangerous to ship. We can't help you if we don't know where you are.... |

I will be buying my batteries at the local sam's club. They are Energizer brand, not sure of quality but very cheap.

They could actually point you in the right direction as well... But if you want to purchase batteries on the internet, you will be probably unsuccessful and pay over price and big bucks for freight... NO NO NO Ezgo has the word! In this order these are the batteries I recommend you to have: Trojan Exide After those there is about 7 or 9 more brands I know, but never tried and just heard they are as not as good as those above. I sell batteries down in Mexico if this helps! |

Last year Sam's was selling Mexican batteries, and they are NOT the same.
I think they got a better battery now, but who really knows with that company. Last time I checked NAPA was branding Exides. |

Previous owner of my cart bought the batteries from Napa. (we live in a "two parts house only" town
I think maybe the biggest hurdle isn't so much finding batteries, it's paying for those suckers |
