Default What do I have?

My wife just got me a rebuilt EZGO with a new body on it. It has no serial number or any markings in the body. Anyone know how I find out if it is a non-DCS, DCS or PDS?

Thanks

Can you post pics of this cart? THat will help us ballpark it's age. Then we can decide if it is a candidate for the DCS/PDS discussion?

No serial numbers? Might want to check with the DPS, too? LOL

It should have a serial # tag in or below the glovebox on the PASSENGER side? NO tag? Don't burn yourself touchin it

I was thinking that too, but this was from an authorized EZGO dealer () who put a new body on a rebuilt frame is what my wife says. I have yet to talk to the dealer...I'll do that Monday. But, anyway, here's some pics of the outside and inside minus covers.

Thx

I could be wrong but it looks like a 5pin plug on the controller--small white plug----...if so then it is a series cart...not a DCS or PDS. Could be wrong but thats what it looks like to me.

I see alot of EzGo's from ?Dealers? here in coastal NC with no numbers??
Yet to know why???
Maybe its the year they didn't tag'em
Poor cart doesn't even know when its B-day is

The only thing I can tell from the pictures is that it is a post 1996 series, fleet cart.
1996 was the first year for single seat back and plastic body.
FNR switch below the seat and no run/tow switch is a non-DCS series cart.

Hot or not, it's slow.

What's the best way to top 20, maybe 22-25 MPH?

To get that baby to 20mph+ a 48v upgrade would do the trick.
Cost would be in the $1500 range.
Parts likely needed:
4ga Cables
400 amp 48v controller
High-speed motor
48v solenoid
48v charger

Is it easy to convert to 48V without getting into my bagwell or 4-seater area? Can you just replace motor +/or controller and top 20? http://www.cartszone.com/ezemseries.asp
D297?
D398 + controller?

Thanks again. I'm ignert on this stuff.
