What charger should I buy and why?
I just bought a 1994 E-Z-GO and now, with the help of this web site, I know it is a Medalist Txt. It did come with Trojan 105 batteries that seem to be in good shape, but it did not come with a charger. So that is the first thing that I need to get. I have been looking at the LVS LV3648 and the Powerwise chargers. What other chargers should I look at or should I buy one of the two I am already looking at.
Thanks for the info... Mike |

Re: What charger should I buy and why?
For what it is worth,
while looking for a input board for my Powerwise charger last week, I was told by a "authorized" E-Z-Go repair guy that the Powerwise charger were the best built, even better that the PW II. |

Re: What charger should I buy and why?
Is a Powerwise a fully automatic charger like the LVS charger? Does it sence the condition of your batteries, charge them, turn off, and the turn back on if the condition tapers off of fully a fully charged state?
Does anybody know where I can find information on the functions of a Powerwise charger? It doesn't have to do all the automatic functions but I would like it to taper off to a trickle when the batteries reach a fully charge state. I can't seem to find then new, are they still sold new? Any help would be appreciated, Mike |

Re: What charger should I buy and why?
Hey MPH, GarageBuilt send me a PM regarding your indecision and requirements for a charger.
This tell you about the high solidarity level of this forum Yes I have certain good experience with DeltaQ chargers and highly recommend them over any other golf car charger. GB already nailed on one of great features of this frequency charger. 4 years and few drops of water, yes sir, this tell you this charger is the perfect watchdog for your batteries. I am working right now and don't have too much time to go extensive in this topic but I will come back to you and doug (don't bite me ) with information why you should consider invest a few more bucks for highly reliable charger as the DeltaQ. By way Doug, did you know that the DeltaQ QuiQ 48v can be programmed to be used on your 42v vehicle as high efficient 42v charger? Later guys. |
