Cables getting warm
Getting my 96 ezgo ready for hunting season. I drove it down the road about 3/4 mile to my woods today, turned around and came back home. I checked the cables and the positive cable was really WARM!!! Will a larger cable help this out? Thanks Brian

Re: Cables getting warm
Yes. The stock cables are borderline to being the right size. Most people find some #4welding cable. If you are capable, solder the big connectors on the cables. All that is available at a welding shop, TSC or other....
Heat shrink wrap looks really good on them also. |

Re: Cables getting warm
Heat is also caused by resistance from older batteries. 4 gauge cables are a MUST.
