Default Deciphering EZ-GO Serial No. and Manufacturing Code No.

Ok, like a ton of other people on here, I'm trying to find out what I have for a cart.

I just bought a camping trailer on a seasonal campground and the cart was part of the package. I was told it was a '05, but from what I've read so far I think it might be a '99.

Serial No: 1179001
Manufacturing code: F199

On the side of the cart it says "Drive Control System".

The F/R switch is below the seat, and there is a run/maintenance switch under the seat.

I was in my first race with it this weekend. I lost in the 1st round to a 48V Club Car. He went 4 rounds before he lost.

You do have a '99 DCS cart. Get a battery state of charge gauge installed asap. These carts melt controllers in low voltage situations....keep the batteries charged up ands never run them down below 50% capacity.

I would like to add to this:
Want to beat the CC? Get an Alltrax DCX400 controller, sponsors here carries them, you wont regret @ ALL. You can dig a little in the forum, that motor can handle 2 more batts for a 48v config that will add much more speed and beat easily the CC!
