Default 94 ezgo diff oil change

How is the best way to change the rear end oil in a 94 ezgo? I am guessing dropping the axle so that the plug is on the side instead of the bottom. Also, isn't 30w oil what you use?

Thanks

....does the 94 have the pan on the bottom of the differential? If so you just drop the pan , clean, refill and then install ....30w motor oil is what the manufacture recommends.

Yes. The pan is on the bottom with the plug at the very bottom.

Yeah, you drop the pan to change the oil from about '93 on...

With the axle dropped down so that the pan is on the side, do you fill it until it runs out like on a regular car diff?

How often should this be done? I have no idea about servicing a golf cart. Do I need to pick up a service manual?
