Default 2005 TXT Controller

What controller should I buy for upgrading to a 48v system?

Which drive system do you have and what modifications are planned and what is the intended use?

I plan on doing a motor upgrade. I have 22's and a back seat. Series motor. Also, if all the batteries are out is there any current being held? I could of sworn I got a little shock today when taking the bolts out?>

Yeah a little current can be stored in the controller... So rear seat = more load. Bigger tires = less torque. Where are you going to use, it in the sand? Hills?

maybe a little in the hills. I am trying to decide whether or not to upgrade. I sold the used batteries and I am trying to decide on the upgrade or not. It was super slow with the 5 year old trojans.

Well the series carts are slow and steady... the upgrade to 48v would be an increase of about 25% power and speed. That is based on a healthy 36v battery pack. If yours was 4 yrs old the increase could be more?

I think I will go with new T-105's. If I do not like the results. Maybe trade or sell it.

The 105s actually have more lead than any other 6v Trojan makes which means more amperage...... realize that it will take 10-12 cycles before they reach full power. You need to learn and follow correct breakin proceedures. good luck
