I am a delaer in central alabama and have about 60 curtis controller that are in need of rebuild or would like to possibly sell for cores. Who rebuilds or buy cores. I hav searched the net, but I am confused on who actuatly is a genuine company to deal with. I know that there are plenty of fly by nite companies out there.

Who do you recommend that I contact.

Watch out controllertestservices, there has been a couple of bad really bad reviews about them. I was happy to find out about them when I first read it here at this forum, but later a member posted this bad experience with the quality of rebuilt.
Not my personal experience though.
Another company doing rebuilds is golframa with the com. You may try both by sending 2 controllers each and decide for your self.
Let us know what was your experience.

I have no personal experience with them. I was given their name and fsip.biz as two places to get controllers modified for higher amperage. These were given to me by EMP when they were telling me they did not recommend Alltrax controllers.

after goin to the golframa dot com website, I have actuatly used them before on rebuild BMW ECU and have had great luck with them. I will be giving both a call and see how I feel talking to them. One is in cali and the other is in FL., so more than likely I will deal with the one in FL since they are closer. I will post up my results.

Interesting, did they give you any reasons why Alltrax was not recommended? Everything I have read on the forums never had anything detrimental about Alltrax.

I will be sending Golframa 2 controller one being a 1204 and the other being a 1205 curtis. I need these done first since I have 2 downed carts in the shop needing these controllers. She told me there is a 48 hour turnaround plus the shipping time on these controllers, so I will get them in the mail tomorrow and will post up results when I get them back.

The 1204 cost 125.00 and the 1205 cost 148.00 to rebuild. They also test them for 50.00. Gonna give them a shot since everyone else is out of stock on these rebuilt controllers

I sent 15 cores to CTS ia Ca. because I had over 100 cores and they told me they needed cores. They said they would pay $20.00 for a core plus freight. After 4 weeks I called and they said they were in the process of breaking them down and would be back with me in a couple days. Well that day hasn't come. Still haven't been paid for freight or cores. They claim to be "award winning service" but BEWARE. I'm just glad I didn't send all of my cores. Thanks, Neil
