Battery Cleaning
Can I get some opinions (I know there are plenty) on the best way to clean my batteries? I am about to replace my cable set and while I was doing it, I felt it would be a good time to clean the batteries and compartment. Als, what is the best thing to apply on the connections to prvent corrosion.
Thanks, Britt |

Re: Battery Cleaning
On a recent refurbish of a 96 CC I put the cart on a trailer, pulled the batteries, set them on the trailer and took the whole works to the power car wash. It worked like a champ with the power wash. Brought everything back and sprayed the batteries with WD 40. They looked new. I always spray a light coat of WD on connections after re-install. It is easy to re-apply and to keep cleaned up. A scrub brush and hose can substitute for the car wash, it just messes up the driveway.
