Lack of Forward Power - Small Shudder
Hello Everyone,
I have a stock 2005 EZ-GO TXT Fleet Series Cart that i am having a problem with. Everything has been fine until yesterday. Staying at a RV resort using the cart back and forth to the pool and general transportation. While drivimg, it suddenly slowed and and had a loss of acceleration. Reverse works normal. Forward acts as if the batteries are not charged. I charged the batteries for about four hours but still have the same result. A real head scratcher Thanks to all in advance Tim More Info Batteries are 3 mos old Cart will run at full speed but takes longer to get there - Loss of torque Very small shudder when accelerating in forward Thanks Last edited by TimmDm; 09-06-2009 at 07:40 AM.. Re: Lack of Forward Power - Small Shudder
Shudder is indication of poor connection. I would start with taking the cover off the F/R switch and look at the stud connection for heat and tightness. Since it runs good in reverse this is a sign that the switch studs for this setting are good as they are not loaded like the forward setting
