Default Length of 4 gauge cable for a 36 volt TXT

I searched all over and could not find how much cable I should order to upgrade to 4 gauge so I went and looked at my cart and guessed.... well I guessed 5 ft short. So anyone needing this info for future reference here it is.... 25 ft of cable and 26 lugs to replace all your TXT cables with new 4 gauge welding cable. This is a 2006 model but I assume to 2001 or so up would be the same.

Part number 607317 on the shop ezgo site and you're done. $122.00 and free shipping. If you're set on making them yourself, I don't think 25 feet is enough? We don't make them anymorem as all our carts get the OEM sets...

And to add to that, you can do it with 18 feet and 18 lugs on a PDS cart.

Aren't the two main motor wires already 4 gauge on the PDS stockers?

That sure seems like a lot of cable. I would have been more than 5' off.

Yes, Mike, they are, and they are very nice ones too compared to the other ones they supply. Keep them if you like, and save some cable and 4 lugs. I just like to have everything the same. It's a sickness.....

I ordered 20 ft and I am about 3 ft short to be exact. I am just trying to save a little cash where I can on this project especially on stuff like this I paid $55.90 shipped (should of cost about $60.00 had I ordered 25ft) for 20 ft of cable, 26 lugs and the swedge tool so I saved about $60.00.

You did good then. The local tractor supply wants 3.49 a foot for 4g welding cable alone!
That's about 70.00 plus tax and then you still need lugs.. I didn't buy it.
