Start a build thread.
This thread is meant for users to compare upgrade notes. Sort of a quick check into what other users are bolting onto their carts. Your project is much to interesting and involved to get lost in this thread later on.

Thanks Scotty, but I'm not really sure where to do that? Can you point me in the right direction.

Do it back under you posi/limited differential thread or start a new one. Keeps everything together and easier to find for future reference.

I agree with scotty; way too cool to get lost in this thread

I did, but it was kinda getting lost there too. Maybe not as many people interested in a mini spool.

bought a bunch of stuff this week, 48-12v reducer from Scotty B, new LED light bar and tail lights, additional LED 'fog' lights, fuse box, ground bar, fuses, bluetooth stereo, not huge $'s but should add some comfort. Installation this weekend. Half the fun is buying, the other half tinkering and installing.

I added a 12" lightbar to the plastic front shield. This is on a cart I'm trying to sell. The original front shield was dented and cracked, so I replaced it with a new one. Instead of riveting it back in like it was, I cut a length of aluminum flat bar about 1" wider than the width of those rivet holes.

Used a 1" nylon spacer on both sides, and bolted the aluminum flat bar through the front shield and support arms.

Then drilled a couple holes into the flat bar just inside the mounting holes and bolted the lightbar through those holes. Got a new switch, and wired everything up.

Lightbar was $13, and switch was $5 from Amazon with free shipping. Another $10 or so in hardware/mounting. Under $30 all in, less than an hours work.

Got a link for that light bar? I would fit well on my 93 Marathon.
