Default Re: What did you do to/for your EZGO today?

Poked at it with a meter a little, cleaned some connections and it still doesnít run. Itís ok though, picked it up cheep on craigs list and it will run eventually. (My first electric money pit). I did take my one year old son for a ride around out property on our 78 Yamaha g1 2 stroke and he giggled the ole time. He also loves the smell of race gas in the evening.

Wow - compression test showed 150 each jug on 1999 robin 350 but wasnt starting as quick I thought it should be (cleaned complete fuel path also) so i did a valve gap adjustment.....

Now getting 175 pounds on both and INSTANT start and increase in acceleration you can feel.

Do the valve gap adjustment.
It is easy quick and so worth the time.

Speed Hut (speedhut.com) Click on "build your own gauges now". Lots of options for customization. Straight forward installation. Took them over a month to ship it but I ordered just before Christmas. Not Chinese junk as far as I can tell. I notice they're having a sale 'till the end of the month.
I've seen cheaper units on ebay but not as customizable.
