Upgraded the stereo that came with the cart when I got it.

I custom made a laser cut stainless steel bezel for a new marine radio, with USB port and aux switches.

Retained the OEM key and volt meter.

Today, I upgraded my EZGO TXT from 36v to 48v and put together a video to show the install and how much the speed increased. Had to get new batteries, battery cables, solenoid, diode, battery meter, charger, and charging receptacle.

All in all it wasn't a bad process - can be done in a weekend or less for sure: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rY6zfAyGM9U

Let me know what you think.

I tried to install a lithium battery pack made from Nissan Leaf batteries. Now the cart is completely dead.

Then you did something wrong. What did you do? Pics and descriptions would be helpful. Start a thread in the lithium section of whatever cart you have and responses will likely help you.
