1997 EZ go TXT has fast take-off

I was wondering what may cause a 1997 EZ Go TXT to not have a slow or regular take-off it goes straight to full speed when the pedal is first pushed. The ITS, selenoid and speed control have been replaced with new parts. After replacing the speed control we still had the same problem so we switched the speed control from another cart we knew was working and we still had the same problem yet the other cart ran like it was supposed to do. We matched the wiring and still have the same problem. The cart goes full speed whether the pedal is barely pressed, halfway or all the way. We replaced the ITS( I think that's what it's called), it's beneath the floor board and has an arm that goes thru it from the pedal control. Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like one of the things you replaced isn't working correctly. I would suspect the ITS. Where did you get the parts from? Were they new, used, OEM, aftermarket, in your buddies tool box, borrowed from your neighbors cart while on vacation (joke)?

all parts were new and didn't think to check the ITS by using a known good one like we did with the speed control. Thanks we'll give it a try.
