Default Just bought an EZGO 36V TXT for $1k ... Was that a good deal?

I'll post a pic when I get the camera charged up tomorrow. It's a 1997 and doesn't have a top. New batteries in 2006 with heavy duty connecting wires between batteries. What should I inspect for wear and tear and replace for safty reasons?

Also, What are the pro/cons between the lifts out there, spindle, axle and economy lift? I'm looking to add 4-5" for running around the neighborhood and the desert 2 miles from the house (Las Vegas).

Thanks!

A 36V cart running around the neighborhood I see. A 36V cart running around in the sand? If you are considering upgrades and want to run in the sand, you will need to upgrade the controller, add batteries and increase the power. The FNR switch, solenoid will need upgrading along with some other things. You may want to check the long travel suspension. That would make it real fun. Burn outs and wheelies. That price is ball park here for that year. It does vary by area. I think it's pretty good.

Here are the pics. The first thing I need to do is get a roof for these HOT SUNNY days.

Stop by your local ezgo dealer. Most of the time they will have factory tops and struts laying around. You might snag one for cheap.

What are those bars on the back? Looks like whats left of a rear seat.
