Thanks everyone for the help already. I have another problem. Ny new (to me) cart seems slow and sluggish. When I push down on the pedal I hear a very faint (almost inaudible) back up type sound. If the cart is stuck in 1/2 power (reverse going forward) how can I resolve? Could this be a controller or motor issue or both? I just installed 6 new batteries Wednesday night adn charged them Wed and all day yesterday. Should I pay for a shop to take a good look over the whole cart and test it out? All help would be appreciated. FAW

What are the individual digital voltage readings for each battery? i.e. #1 = 4.23 #2 = 6.89?

I am at work now but when I chacked last night they were all over 6. Should you let new batteries charge a couple of days before running? FAW

Absolutely not! Didn't you also just completely remove the controller and heat sink plate? Did you install everything back correctly?

I installed everything back correctly according to the wiring diagrams. When I remoived the heatsink I didn't remove the wires from the controller. I also used the Powerwise charger to charge up the new batteries. If I do buy another controller what is the difference between a 300A and 400, 550, 850 Amp controller? Speed? My controller looks to not have the 2 extra prongs on the top left adn a smaller pin setup than the 9 pin.. I am assuming that means it is a "fleet" cart correct? I attached a picture before it was all cleaned up. FAW

Controller alone won't get you much speed, if any.
