Default radio help

Sorry if this has been answered, but I have looked and been unable to find what I am looking for!

I am installing a radio in an '05 TXT. Can the radio be installed to the key switch to operate the power, or must something else be done?

I wired mine directly to the battery. As long as the memory wire is hooked to the batt you'll still save your pre-sets and then you can pull out the key and listen to the radio and nobody can take off with your cart.

Sorry for the hijacking but also did you all use a kit to install the head unit or just cut a hole the right size? I have a new CD player in the box waiting to go in and need to know if I need a kit for a car to put in the cart before I stick the unit in?

I will be wiring it directly to 2 batteries.

Pimp,

I am leaning on putting the 6x9s under the seat. I tried to fab what you have but Can't find a way to fill the gaps on the side of the cart and make it look nice. Can you post a pic of the side of your speaker enclosures showing what you used to fill in the concave gap between the plexi and the cart dash?
