4 Batteries, 24V System? Ezgo Old Three Wheeler
There are four batteries, The charger output is 24volts.. Does this mean each battery is 6 volt or could each be 12 volt?
I made a little diagram of the batteries (How they are wired.. Thanks) |

Some of the older parts pickers were 24 volt systems

By the diagram, they look to be wired in series which means 6 volts batteries.

There are three caps on each battery that all have battery acid in them..
I know it is 24 volts hah, Just wonderin if each battery is 12 or 6, but it is sounding like 6..? |

6 volts - the parts pickers were a 24 volt system

Ok, well now I need to figure out why the charger is shutting off before they are fully charged, and why this thing is only going half speed!!Thanks Agian mike

It only goes like 8 miles an hour (The guy i bought it said its as half as fast as it used to go, as if there are two parts to a control box some where, and one is burnt out..)
