New low rent project
New project, Found cart in the weeds guy gave it to me.
He's probably still laughing. It needs a controller, batteries, and who knows what else. I'm not sure who got screwed me or him. lol |

Re: New low rent project
When you say it needs a controller and batteries is that because they are missing or the cart doesn't run? Did you get the FREE battery charger as well? Either way FREE is a great deal.... congratulations.

Re: New low rent project
Actually got 2 carts, An old Yamaha frame was broke all body panels demolished. and the EZGO. Both had chargers one manual and one automatic.
The manual one works fine. Some one jumped out the control board on the Total charge III. The output is constant and the charger won't turn off I Sold the Batteries at the recycler for $0.15 a pound Got a little over a $100.00 for them. sold the Yamaha for scrap got $33.00 for it. Free is really good. |

Re: New low rent project
It has a controller. I did the checks listed in the sticky and got no output.
But I didn't have batteries in it. I hooked the charger up to the B+ B- leads and disconnected M- , all the voltage from the ITS unit checked good but I could not get any output from the controller. |

Re: New low rent project
Yes it has a serial number but I haven't written it down. The ID plate is intact, the manuf. code ends in 94 so I guess it is a 1994 model.
I plan on doing a poor mans camo job.(.97 cent Wallyworld spray paint.) It will be ugly but I will use it in the woods, and around the farm. Won't have to listen to the little woman gripe about mud on her yard cart. |

Re: New low rent project 1st pictures
Did a little work this afternoon.
Got the cart running. My dad brought his cart over to the house and we used his batteries to check it out. !!! IT IS ALIVE !!! New batteries on the way. This is the base coat for the wallyworld camo job. Kinda looks like old school hotrod. |

Re: New low rent project
Hope to finish the camo tomorrow.
I have been cutting stencils tonight. Trying to decide if I'm going to use the lid or go topless. |
