EZ GO Golf cart ID

I am new to the golf cart arena, worked as a proffessional auto tech and instructor for over 30 years so I thought I would tackle an electric golf cart as a project. Here is what I am working with (hopefully the link works)

I got it for about 1/2 what its listed for. I believe it to be an 1985? can anyone give me any idea specifically what model it is? I would like to get a tech manual but I need more information.

Once I get time to tackle it I am sure I will have lots of questions.

Any help would be appreciated.

If you click on the home button and then ezgo electric carts, there is stickies there for your manuals, there will be detailed wiring diagrams there for you, plus a ton of other information.

Looks like a model X-444 to me. EZGO carts have a serial number and manufacturer's code in or under the passenger side dashboard storage compartment. The manufacturer's code is used to determine the year the car was made, not the serial number. The last 2 numbers are the year if you believe yours to be an 85, the manufacturers number should end in 85.
