Default Scared of sulfate on your plates?

Installing a new set of 8v exides today, just want to make sure the batteries last forever this time. Dont have any idea how long the last set lasted since I just bought the cart, but the ones I took out look like replacement 3600's. Figure about 5 years on the initial set and 5 on the ones I just took out. They were only getting a few hundred yards on a charge.

anyhow, is anyone scared of the sulfate dragging down your capacity? Anyone have long time use of an electronic sulfate fighting thing?

5 years is great on a set of batteries. Most only get 2-3 out of aftermarket batteries, Trojans will get you 5+ no problem.

Keep them charged, clean, and full, and they will last a good long time. You don't need any aftermarket bolt-on flashy LED's. Save your money for beer, My .02

I'd like to hear a report from someone who has long term used a desulfination system like this. I like the theory anyway... for an older set. These have been out long enough that someone has a experience to share.

Revival of the dead post!
