Default Hello all - need help with cart

Just got a 93 ez go marathon cart - Dead on arrival
just got all new batteries not sure about connections going to foward reverse switch, looking at the wiring diagram - is the shifter's top contact going to a2 on the motor and the bottom contact go to m- on the controller - and the left contact s2 on the motor, leaving the right side contact to s1 on the motor
b+ on the controller to a1 on the motor
b- on controller to b- on batteries
b+ on the batteries to the solenoid
thanks in advance for your help
