Default Turns much sharper to the right than left

I just bought a lifted cart and am still trying to figure out exactly what I have. The serial number is L302 1550447. It drives fine, but will turn very sharp to the right and not sharp enough to the left. How do I center the steering?

Thanks

What year cart and what kind of lift? If its a newer EZGO (2001.5+) you can adjust the steering rack a little to make it more even.

It is a 2002 and I don't know what kind of lift kit. I just bought the cart. The steering is off a lot. I can barely turn around in the street by turning left. I almost need to backup to make the turn. It will need more than a little adjustment. My guess is the steering box was not centered when it was put together with the lift kit, but I am not sure of the process to re-center the steering.

I have seen them be a little off, but not that much. Can you post some pics of the front axle?

The adjustment for right and left travel is usually on the ball joint that goes into the steering box.
The tech manual is here: http://products.jacobsen.com/img/manuals/28646.pdf

From the picture it looks like a basic rack & pinion steering system? Probably just needs the tie rods adjusted.

Ignore that last post. After looking at the manual, I was wrong about the tie rods. Your problem is most likely the drag link adjustment but considering it's a lifted cart (read, possibly modified geometry), you'll have to take a close look at all the adjustments.
