Got new controller, NEED HELP
Got my Alltrax Axe 4844. The plastic plug on my old controller is too smalll for the alltrax. Its a 4 pin but the prongs are too big on the Alltrax. Where can I get another plug and what do I call it.

Re: Got new controller, NEED HELP
The plug gets cut off (I left 4 inches of wire on it just in case I had to splice it back in one day) and each wire gets an insulated spade connector crimped on. Disregard the colors of my control wires, they are not factory issue. |

Re: Got new controller, NEED HELP
I don't know the size, I just used the size that fits. They were all in my wiring kit, and are pretty common. Maybe 1/4"?
Wire color doesnt matter, the important part is getting the correct wire to the correct post. The Alltrax instructions should be very specific. |

Re: Got new controller, NEED HELP
It looks like you have resistors across the coils of your solenoid?? Where did you get them??

Re: Got new controller, NEED HELP
The spade terminals are just regular everyday spade terminals. Just be sure and use the right gauge spade and crimp well.
Black and white wires are your 2 throttle wires. |

Re: Got new controller, NEED HELP
There is a resistor across the large solenoid posts and a diode across the small solenoid posts. I purchased them from a local electronics supply vendor. You can reuse the ones on your existing solenoid unless you go to 48v, then you should get different ones with new values.
