Default 1984 Ezgo Cart to buy or not to buy

I am new to this site, but I have been a "stalker" for a bit. I am looking for a cart to purchase for flat terrain to take deer hunting. A lifted cart fits the bill a lot better for myself and small children than a 4 wheeler. I am going to look at this cart on Saturday. Do you think this would work and it is a good deal? I plan on a DIY krylon camo paint job and camo vinyl seats(thanks buggiesgonewild for all the info)!
Here is a copy of the ad with pictures of the cart. Anything I should ask or look for when we go and look at it? Thank you in advance for any help!

1984 EZGO electric golfcart $700.00-good shape!

SOLD PENDING FUNDS ON SATURDAY.....I have a 1984 electric textron EZGO golf cart with charger for sale. It has a top, backseat, rear mirror, 4 inch liftkit, NEW turf tires and wheels. It has a new meter also.
It needs a little TLC on the seats, but the rest is in good shape.
I need to sell this for some Christmas money, never did ride it. It has been kept under carport.

I would say if your just looking for transportation, it will probably work. But you won't get anywhere fast. Offroad, this cart will slow down on inclines and will probably be a disappointment. I would say keep your eyes open for a newer cart that can be upgraded if needed. Once you start with a cart, you will want to change things around. This one is limited as aftermarket part are limited.

Again, if you just want to cruise the kiddos around the neighborhood then have fun with it.
