What do I have?
So a "friend" brought me an Ez-Go in pieces and asked if I could put it back togehter.
He had it to the local golf cart shop (Club Car dealer) who was feeding him a line. The dealer said that since there was a pin broke off of the controller it was bad, don't ezgo controllers only have a pin missing on the 6 pin connector. Anyways the numbers off of the tag are 948583 F1496. What is it so I can find the right wiring diagram? |

Re: What do I have?
You need to know if it is series or dcs ..... the F&R on dcs looks like a hockey puck on the back side and the environmental cover will have a run/tow switch on it? Wadda ya got?

Re: What do I have?
Yes - a SERIES controller has 5 pins, 4 in a row, a blank, then the fifth. To the persone not knowing what they were looking at, it would seem that a pin is missing. Why a golf cart shop would not know the difference is beyond me?
Good call on your friends part! Hopefully the controller is still good! |

Re: What do I have?
A DCS controller has 9 pins. 7 in a row, a space, then the final two...

Re: What do I have?
So I think I have the wiring correct, but there is no power to activate the solenoid.
I jumpered the solenoid, and I have reverse only, no forward. Any thought on the issue? |

Re: What do I have?
If all of the cabling (motor - F&R) is correct, you have a bad controller.
