What Golf Car do I have and Wiring Problem
Hello and great forum, hope I can learn alot here. I have a Electric Golf Cart, not sure what model or who made it. I looked for plates with info but haven't found one. I found some info on this forum but still unsure. So what I hope to do is find out what type of GCar I have and also some help with a wiring issue.
Here are the links. |

If you could get a picture of the whole cart it would help. Your pics look like my friends Club Car Caroche setup from the late 70's. A front end pic would help.

I agree, Club Car. Older than my '85 for sure. 3 pedals should tell a tale.

Re: What Golf Car do I have and Wiring Problem
Okay a couple of front pics and a side view.
Now the electrical question. I have all the batteries connected in series #1 through 6, the battery charger plugs into a clawfoot receptacle so the neg wire goes to the Neg post on battery #6 Which also has a wire going to the coil/resistor config(? not sure if they are resistors). I have the positive wire from clawfoot connected to Pos post on Batt #1. There is a wire connected to FWRD/RVRS Switch (SW1) Terminal #5 that I am not too sure where it goes. Any help is much appreciated. |

That is in fact a Club Car Caroche, and that ends my knowledge base on it.

Well Biloyp, time to move your questions over to the club car electric forum to keep this all straight. Just start a new thread like you did this one. Hope to see you there.

Re: What Golf Car do I have and Wiring Problem
I have always shied away from the old Club Cars (pre84) but CC was always slow to change... here is posted a post '84 F&R which although different looking, seems to have the same positioning of terminals & functions.... The #5 you ask about seems to be going to the motor S1 terminal (red wire) Hope this helps
